Xiaomi’s new Redmi Note 9 Pro Max smartphone went on sale for the first time last week and a new software update has also been released for the smartphone which comes with the April 2020 security. The new feature is not revealed by the changelog and the update size is 338MB.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max was launched in March and the April security patch is being delayed by a month. While some of Realme’s phones have already started receiving May updates.
The firmware version of the new update is MIUI v18.104.22.168.QJXINXM. You can check for updates in the software update by going to the phone about the update in phone settings. It usually takes some time to reach the update for all the users.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G. In addition to 6GB / 8GB RAM, Note 9 Pro Max is going to get UFS 2.1 storage up to 128GB. To increase the phone’s storage, 2 + 1 slots have been provided and the storage can be increased to 512GB. Talking about battery, the new phone is getting a big battery of 5020mAh. A 33W fast charger is also available with this variant which can charge the device up to 50% in 30 minutes.
